More Beautiful Exotics at Savannah's Secret Gardens

Just in-  'Aloha Lily' (Eucomis 'Leia') -
This pineapple lily has lots of pink flowers that bloom from mid to late summer with a hint of coconut fragrance and are very long lasting. It has thick wavy ornamental leaves and is very drought tolerant. It grows 18" tall and takes full to partial sun.

Siam Tulip Swift Purple ( a ginger) -
A showy tropical flower, this long lived perennial has a moderate salt tolerance and blooms late spring thru fall.  Siam Tulip care involves keeping  the soil lightly moist but never allowing roots to sit in soggy soil, lots of  bright light or indirect light but not where sun hits directly on the leaves for it will burn.

Ground Orchid ( spathoglottis) -
This plant blooms beautiful yellow and purple flowers that are fragrant and long lasting.  It needs moisture, but can't stand to have its roots constantly wet.  Water the plant thoroughly then allow the surface and top layer of planting media to dry out before you water again.  It will grow well in light shade to full sun.  They will get around 2' tall and are relatively heavy feeders.  They also make great house plants!
