This perennial hibiscus loves the sun and needs moist, well drained soil. Keeping the mocha moon watered will result in larger beautiful flowers. The flowers can get as large as 7-8" and are pure white with a scarlet red eye that bleeds a little onto ruffled overlapping petals. The bright green carpels that hold the flower contrast nicely with the deep bronze-green foliage.

In the garden this week!
I love rain frogs!
This guy has found the perfect spot to sit and wait on insects like mosquito's inside my 'Tea Cup' Colocasia.
The Tea Cup is definitely one of a kind. The leaves hold themselves very upright in an inverted cup like pose and as they fill up with water they slightly tip over and pour it out.
So cool to watch when it rains!
We have Babies!
Remember the mother Killdeer that was out and about in our gardens protecting her nest, well her eggs have hatched and we have two adorable little birds.
